What to Wear to Get Ready for Your Wedding

As a female, half of your wedding day is spent getting ready. It’s crazy to think that with a 6pm ceremony, getting ready started at 9am! I put a lot of thought in mine and my bridesmaid getting ready looks so we would be comfortable but also make for cute pictures.

I found our pjs on Boden, while their blue and white stripe ones are sold out, my white set is available and on sale still! When it comes to getting ready clothes, make sure that they are lounge or pajamas with a button up or zip up options as to not mess up your hair and makeup when you get changed. Or even opt for a fun robe instead.

I love mixing and matching, like how I wore all white and had them in a subtle blue print. Just make sure you’re in a different print or color as you’re the bride.

I think a lot of people forget footwear when it comes to getting ready but people like wearing shoes or slippers at venues so for pictures sake don’t forget the footwear. I went with monogramed sandals from Palm Beach Sandals so that the girls could wear after the wedding and made mine in my new married monogram to wear on our honeymoon. You could also do cute slippers like these.

Lastly, you typically do a cheers-ing picture in your getting ready pictures so make sure you have beautiful stemware or something fun like my Tart by Taylor flutes.
