For the second morning of Camp Preppy we started the chilly day with needlepoint. Paris of, With Love, By Bug created these custom canvases for camp based on the camp pennant. They were much anticipated and an activity most of the group was excited for as active needlepointers.
The morning lived up to the hype as Paris gave stitching lessons to first-timers and those seasoned veterans cozied up together to stitch their newest canvas. I brought it all together with Furbish needlepoint pillows for everyone.
Spread out on the iconic front patio of The Red Lion Inn, each camper picked their pillow that resonated most with them, with whimsy sayings like “not my monkeys, not my circus” and “this is why we can’t have nice things” there was something for everyone!
The needlepoint goodies were kitted up in a Nicole Speake Designs pouch. We sipped hot tea and coffee, stitching a few hours away and enjoying each others company and the busy main street of the Inn.
