A few weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of going to Aspen/Snowmass thanks to the brand Mestiza. It was my first time there and I absolutely loved, I think summer could even be better than winter.
Here’s my 48 hour travel guide for Aspen/Snowmass:
Where to stay? The Viceroy Snowmass, a newer hotel everything is beautiful, clean, luxe and of course new. It’s located right at the bottom of the mountain in Snowmass which is super convenient for outdoor fun and keeps you close to restaurants as well.
Where to eat? At the Viceroy you can enjoy delicious food at Toro. My favorites were the BBQ edamame, angry tuna roll and bison burger. They have a great wine and cocktail menu too. Plus, the atmosphere, views and interiors are also stunning.
In Snowmass and just up a little gondola ride I had a lovely lunch at The Stewpot. It seemed to be a local favorite. I got the chili and panini sandwich, yum.
If you’re eating in Aspen checkout Clark’s Oyster Bar. I know Oysters in Colorado? But it came highly recommended by locals and my lunch did not disappoint with the addition of great people watching! I’ve also heard great things about White House Tavern but didn’t make it there.
What to do? Take in nature, of course! With a hike, bike ride or fly fishing. I’m always a fan of a good pool or spa day too. Luckily all of these activities can easily be accessed from the Viceroy.
Where to shop? I would say Snowmass has more sport or tourist shops. However, I did enjoy Gorsuch where they carried more chic brands in clothing and home goods. If you’re looking to do some major shopping head to Aspen where they have every luxury brand you could imagine plus cute boutiques just watch out for markups.
What to wear? Mestiza! From their fashionable dresses to their comfortable two-piece sets and even cozy pjs…. the brand has everything you need for a vacation in Aspen/Snowmass.
