The Pineapple of My Eye

There’s no point in even trying to hide my obsession with pineapples at this point. I don’t think I can physically count the number of pineapple chotskies around Patricia’s Palace. I started collecting them years ago from antique stores and slowly it has grown into a monster (a good one though!).

I decided my table setting for this week would be a casual take on southern hospitality. If you want to learn more about how pineapples became a symbol of hospitality and wealth, read this article. My table mixes a little golden glitz with a relaxed flair that’s easy to clean up (hello! fancy paper products). Seriously, how lucky are we that disposable no longer means just styrofoam and solo cups?!
