Between you and I, every night we eat dinner at the kitchen counter and never the table. We’ve been doing this for a few years. It’s just more convenient, easier to clean up and less formal for just the two of us. However, if we are feeling fancy than instead we opt for dinner on the upper patio. It’s the perfect size for just the two of us and has a beautiful view of the backyard.
I made this fresh little tablescape as the perfect setting for two. The placemats are even paper! Talk about easy!
