Something you may not know about me is that in addition to working in PR with my business Piqued PR, I also teach. I usually teach one class a semester through my alma mater Immaculata University. Typically its fashion marketing, product development and field experience. All last year I taught my classes to high school seniors for college credit at two local catholic high schools and this semester I am teaching college juniors and seniors.
The main reason I teach is because I love to mentor and help others in their journey and another is because when I was their age I had no clue what to be or how to even get that dream job once I figured out what I wanted to do. After all, no one in my family was in the PR industry. I find teaching my class so rewarding and a way that I can give back.
But back to the outfit… I actually wore this dress to to teach my first day of class this fall semester. It’s classic, conservative and ladylike… just perfect!
