You have no idea how excited I am to finally share my closet with you! This was one of the reasons I was most excited about the downstairs reno… one space for all of my clothes, shoes and bags! I’ve never had a walk-in closet so this was major #goals for me! As a child I would have sleepovers at my grandparents and ask if I could sleep in my mom-mom’s walk-in closet! Thats how obsessed I’ve always been with fashion (and walk-in closets). Before this I would keep my dress in the bedroom closets, tops in the office, blazers in the guest room, etc. Basically I would dress in absolute chaos with no organization.
First I picked out pink for the wall color because I no longer have any pink rooms now that Will moved in and it’s my favorite color. This is my little slice of girly heaven. Then I used Hello Dobson’s fun monkey wallpaper for some chinoiserie chic fun! Finally all my decor and furniture is from Lauren Haskell Designs (this bench looks like its over 2k but its under $500!). No room is complete without a June St. George rug. This was my first rug by here and I had so much fun with the process of picking out the design/colors and the quality is amazing!
Would you believe me if I told you that all of the shelving is from HomeDepot and you can build it yourself (or have your dad like I did mine…. thank you!).
Now I just need to book another session with Suzie Gaffney to help me organize it better and do another closet clean out.
