I’ve kept my hair the same just about my whole life. Occasionally I’ll cut it shoulder length or get some highlights but it has never drastically changed. I figure if it works, why mess with it? Each season though I like a little refresh. You know, lighter for summer and darker for fall. To get my fall color on I stopped into Andre Richard Salon. It was my first time to the salon and it didn’t disappoint.
I’ll be honest, I avoid center city like the plague. The traffic getting into the city stresses me out and then parking? I literally can’t even (no, I really can’t parallel park). However. there’s a parking garage right down the street from the salon and Andre Richard Salon will validate your parking for a discounted rate. Amazing.
The salon itself is hip and cool with an exposed brick wall and lots of black and metal accents. It’s bustling with energy! I was scheduled with Ryan, a senior stylist who is also a Redken Educator. I told Ryan about my concerns of not wanting anything too drastic, instead something closer to my root color as my ends had lightened up with the summer sun. He suggested we go with a rich brown that has an ever so subtle hint of red. The perfect color for fall. Now if only the fall weather would come! Hear that fall? I’m ready for ya!
