Pajamas, TeleTies, Detangle Spray, Dry Shampoo, Texturizing Spray, Hairspray
I get a lot of questions about my hair and to be honest, it’s one of the things that I like best physically about myself. I mean us girls pick ourselves apart but my hair is the one thing I can count on. By that let me clarify, I’m not great at doing hair but I’ve found a routine that works for me, a style after years of experimenting with shorter cuts, bangs, straightening, etc. and settled on these loose waves.
I mostly use Oribe’s Moisture and Control Shampoo and Conditioner, it’s pricey but honestly I can go 3 days without washing it thanks to them. Then once a week I use Joico’s Blue Shampoo for my lighter highlights to keep them from getting brassy. I shower in the evening and go to bed with damp air, letting my natural wavy hair do its thing.
In the morning I used a detangle spray as my waves tend to get knotty. I curl my hair with Drybar’s curling iron. Finish with their hairspray, which I like because I can still run my hands through my hair with it but it keeps my curls perky. Lastly I spray Oribe’s texture spray to add some volume and texture. Once again, this Oribe product is pricey but works great and smells amazing!
Between washes I use DryBar’s dry shampoo whenever I am starting to get greasy and always use a TeleTie for workouts! They are cute and actually hold my hair, which I have a lot of!
