Mixing Old with New at the Table

There’s something about November and December, I’m EXTRA in the mood to set a pretty table and re-fluff the house with decor. When I saw these Jayes Studio placemats I knew I had to do a table with them. They are chinoiserie fabulousness! Generally when I’m hosting a party or just setting a pretty table for family my inspiration comes from one specific piece and then stems from there. Here it was the placemats, from there I envisioned a Palm Beach chic setting that could host Lilly herself back in the day. I scored these vintage plates from my local antique mall for $20 for a set of 8! Can you believe it? Oh and I can’t forget to let you know that these napkin rings and flatware are both on sale. Meaning get them now for the holidays as a gift or a greta yo’ self!

I love the idea of making your Christmas table with these placemats too by mixing in some red in replace of the pink. Speaking of Jayes, they’re killing it lately! I can’t get enough of their plaids, palms and chinoiserie goodness.
