Lemon Squeezy

Vase, Vase, Napkin (similar), Tablecloth (similar), Matches, Dress

Ever since I saw this shirt, I’ve been dreaming up a lemon themed dinner party. Something about it reminds me of Betty Draper of Mad Men, feminine, classic and a touch of throwback 60s glam. Instead of strictly using green or yellow I decided to accent with a pop of hot pink throughout the table. To add even more interest fun I mixed 3 patterns throughout, polka dots, checks and then of course, the printed lemon tablecloth.

This little setting was thrown together in minutes. Even the place settings took seconds and were literally made by just slicing into a real lemon. Oh and this setting was cheap, I found mostly everything at TJMax (tablecloth), Homegoods (napkins and plates) and Target (vases and lemon candles). I don’t know about you but I find myself at one of the above at least once a week. I go in for one thing and spend end up spending hours and buying way more than I came for. It’s like the Bermuda Triangle, you just get lost and can’t  leave!
