You may not know this about me but I actually have a certificate in Interior Design from Temple University. I LOVE decorating and designing. If I wasn’t a publicist I would for sure be an interior designer.
What I love most about interior design is playing with color and mixing patterns. There’s also so much crossover in fashion (what I have one degree in) and the world of interiors too. It’s fun watching trends cycle through and all the different styles of design out there.
My personal motto for design is don’t take yourself to seriously and while I don’t suggest going full on trends I do always say that you should design with what you love and not be worried about potential buyers for when you sell later or that you may tire of something. Your home should be your happy place NOW!
Which leads me to some exciting projects… picking new pillows for a little refresh in my living room and unveiling my guestroom that I’ve spent the last few months on redesigning. Stay tuned…
