Louis Vuitton’s LV logo, Gucci’s interlocking G’s and Mackenzie Child’s Courtly Check. What do they all have in common? Their iconic patterns. If you spot this check pattern in a home you immediately know it’s Mackenzie Childs. It’s not just about the name dropping though, it makes such a bold statement yet still remains classic because when it’s broken down its just black and white and a simple check.

I loved putting together this table setting for a modern twist on a garden party. It mixes the glam gilded gold edges on the dinnerware with the casual texture of chambray in the tablecloth. Plus, I love the idea of giving your guest a little flower to take home with them.
